What is the difference between a podcast and vodcast?
A podcast is audio-only content, while a vodcast (video podcast) includes both audio and visual elements, allowing viewers to watch as well as listen.

Can I bring my own equipment to the studio?
We provide high-quality equipment in our studio to ensure the best audio and video results. As a result, we do not allow external equipment. This helps maintain the quality of the content we produce.

Is there parking available at the studio?
There is no parking directly outside the building, except for disabled access or drop-offs/pick-ups. You can park on Victoria Dock Road (opposite the DLR station) and use the PayByPhone app to pay for parking, usually around £4 for 2 hours.

Can I reschedule a missed booking?
nfortunately, missed bookings cannot be rescheduled or refunded. If you need to change your booking, please ensure you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.

We provide state-of-the-art recording equipment, including professional microphones, audio interfaces, and headphones. Our studio is fully equipped to handle both podcasts and vodcasts, ensuring high-quality production.

What is the maximum number of people allowed on set at East Dock Studios?
Depending on the set, we can accommodate different group sizes. For example, our E16 set allows up to six people on camera, while our E20 set is ideal for up to four people, perfect for smaller, more intimate recordings.

How do I distribute my podcast after recording at East Dock Studios?
Once your podcast or vodcast is recorded, we’ll provide you with the necessary files via cloud transfer, ready for you to upload to platforms like Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or your chosen host.
